Our Practice

Born in Colombia South America moved to the US in 2001 and was hosted by childhood friend’s family. Began learning the English language by taking classes at the Sullivan Center and Agape Language Institute while working two jobs. Then began studying criminal justice at Greenville Technical College and at the same time began competing amateur cycling races in the east coast. Graduated from King University in 2014 with a degree in Political Science and minor in Business working towards a lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer. Cycling coach Dan Kreiss recruited him to continue his education and cycle for King University. While racing for King University the team achieved conference champions twice and qualified to three national championships. After completing his degree at King, Julian attended the Charlotte School of Law and finished his degree at the Appalachian School of Law. Julian graduated in May 2018 and passed the bar in 2019 with a high score that could allow him to practice law in more than 25 jurisdictions should he seek being admitted. As of now, he has been admitted to the SC & NC bar – having been sworn in by the Supreme Court of South Carolina in January 2020, and in North Carolina by his former professor and retired Superior Court Judge Jesse B. Caldwell III. And with Spanish as his mother tongue and previous experience as an interpreter, Julian is passionate about helping the Hispanic community. Julian is a man who wants to seek justice for all and we are proud that he is an alumnus of King University and Appalachian School of Law. Julian is now married to his smart and beautiful wife Diana Martinez who has been key support for him throughout law school and passing the bar to be able to practice law. Julian and Diana also have one child, Samuel, and they enjoy spending time with him.

A lifelong resident of South Carolina. Myreon grew up in Bennettsville, South Carolina (SC) before attending college at Winthrop University located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. While attending Winthrop University, Myreon was involved in numerous service organizations . This involvement led to Myreon obtaining one of Winthrop’s  most prestigious student awards, the American Legion Award, awarded to the student with a dedication to public service. After obtaining his degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology, Myreon entered the finance industry. Myreon worked as a financial advisor for TD Bank in Greenville, SC before attending law school at the Charleston School of Law in Charleston, SC in 2017. Myreon graduated with his law degree in May of 2020 and passed the bar in October of 2020 with a score that would allow him to practice law in more than 25 jurisdictions should he seek being admitted. As of now, Myreon solely practices in South Carolina in the areas of criminal law. Prior to joining the Julian Cabra Law Firm (JCLF), Myreon honed his skills as a criminal defense attorney practicing as an Assistant Public Defender in the 8th Judicial Circuit of South Carolina servicing the citizens in Newberry, Laurens, Greenwood, and Abbeville counties. Some areas of criminal law Myreon has experience in are: drug cases, domestic violence, and juvenile crimes among many others.  Myreon is the proud dog-parent to his lab mix, King. Myreon is a resident of Greenville County and spends his leisure time enjoying time with his dog and family.

Cindy joined the team early 2023. She brings a significant amount of experience in the legal field. Throughout her career she has worked for multiple firms in the Upstate as a Paralegal and Office Manager. Cindy is empathetic and compassionate with our clients and at the same time very diligent to make sure their needs are met. Also, Cindy focus her time managing all firm affairs for our two locations, while making sure the team is well coordinated to serve our clients.

Born in Honduras Janice moved to the US at an early age and completed her education in the Upstate. Janice began working with Mr. Cabra in previous firms and has been working along his side for more than 5 years. Janice is Graduate of Greenville Technical College where she earned her Paralegal degree. During her time off Janice enjoys spending time with her family and participating in church activities.

Jo has been in the Upstate for most of her life and has worked for multiple Plaintiffs firms where she met Mr. Cabra and developed a strong relationship. Jo also completed her Paralegal studies which have enabled her to work in the legal field for more than 18 years. Jo has experience in different areas of the Law but currently focuses on Personal Injury and Workers Compensation cases. Most known as "Mama Jo" because she truly care for her clients, co-workers, and family.

Bertha is one of our newest paralegals and has proven to be very dedicated and fast learner. Bertha is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Criminal Justice. Her work ethic and studies have allowed her to manage cases in the Criminal and Personal Injury division. Bertha deeply cares for our clients and makes sure to keep them informed of their cases.

Catalina began her career in our previous firm and has developed her skills to multitask at a busy and demanding environment. She is known to be very empathetic and patient with our clients who likely are going through a hard time but Catalina makes sure their needs are addressed in a timely manner. Catalina is the mother of two beautiful children and has lately became a public notary, which comes handy to help our clients.
